Antique French GOTHIC Prayer Offertory Box with Candle Holder~~c. 1890s
Wonderful decorator piece for today's home or church
~~Rarely do we find these hanging offertory boxes used in French Churches in the late 19th century~~
Three (3) individual compartments with original brass plates with slots for different denominations of French coins~~1 Franc, 0.75 CMES and 0.50 CMES~~
Arched openings will accommodate candles
Lower drawer for retrieving coins has working key

Solid and sturdy with dark oak patina

This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use. Original key is included; however, old locking mechanisms can be finicky and are never guaranteed. Small mismatched trim piece upper right arch.
