These belonged to an uncle of a friend of mine.   I got these items in a trade I made with him.     He said his uncle was a prominent African Hunter and supported all the African Hunting conservation groups/programs.    He visited Africa many times he said.    He was a member of this organization for many years.   I do not know the age of these items but I would estimate them to be from the 70's-80's......just  guessing.
The lucky high bidder will receive exactly what is shown in my photos:
(1) - SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL - LOS ANGELES CHAPTER - removable - Hand Stitched(?)/Embroidered -  INSIGNIA/PATCH/Emblem.     This exhibits wonderful craftsmanship - and is incredibly well done/finished.   It measures  3.75" high x 3" across at its widest part.   It is oval shaped as shown.   It is STIFF and sturdy.   This wonderful detailed
hand embroidered wire blazer badge crest has been created using gold & silver bullion on a purple back ground.       The lion is stitched on so as to appear 3D - See photos.    The back side of this removable, sturdy, embroidered PATCH - has FOUR sharp pins (pin backed) that are topped with four holding/removable posts.  My 4th photo shows one of the brass tops removed from one of the sharp pins.   These sharp pins allow this emblem to be placed - temporarily - on
caps, sports jacket, leather jackets, blazer coat, Blazer Pocket, shirts, uniforms and/or Accessories.    It can be easily removed by removing the top part of the sharp pins that hold it on.   Completely VERSATILE.    This is in EXCELLENT - VINTAGE - CONDITION with no holes, tears or repairs.
(1) SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL - LOS ANGELES CHAPTER - NAME TAG.     This sturdy - clear plastic name tag measures 2.5" wide x 3.25" high.   It is shown - front/back - in my photos.   It has the name MICHAEL PARDUE on it - who - I was told - was a long standing member for many years and wore/used these items at SAFARI CLUB meetings and events.
(1) - SAFARI CLUB of LOS ANGELES - DINNER TICKET.    No date on this.   Made from similar material as the NAME TAG.    Back is plain and unmarked.    Like new condition.    2.5" x 2-1/8"approximately.
(1) - SAFARI INTERNATIONAL - VINTAGE - CLOTH PATCH.    THIS orange and brown/silver embroidered patch is new old stock.   It has never been applied.   It measures approximately 3.5" high x 3" wide - at its widest point.   A beautiful patch and highly collectible/usable.

I am a little old-fashioned, as you will not find any dancing icons, flashing messages, or background music on my auctions. My energies are devoted to item description which include an honest assessment of condition (with flaws, defects or shortcomings noted), plus usually an over abundance of clear, close-up photos. I would rather over describe, than have a disappointed customer.
SHIPPING/HANDLING CHARGES
Buyer to pay .00 shipping/packaging to ANY of the lower 48 UNITED STATES - with Tracking/Delivery included.    Insurance provided by Seller when applicable.   My shipping cost is a flat rate estimate.    My shipping charges are based on shipping from LOS ANGELES.    Needless to say, I do not know the specific destination, in the Continental USA, that this item will be shipped to.    So if you think the estimated shipping/packaging charges are not reasonable, please simply reduce the amount of your bid to what YOU think the shipping cost SHOULD BE.    USPS shipping cost have skyrocketed the past couple years.    My intentions are to NOT make any profit on my shipping/packaging charges.   I have lost money on my estimated, flat rate shipping charges on some of my estimated shipping charges - in the past.

A brief "WORD TO THE WISE" to all bidders (especially e-Bay "first timers").    PLEASE do not set yourself up to get "sniped" (blocked out) at the very last minute or second of an auction. Your bid should always be for the MAXIMUM $$ you would spend for this item. This strategy will avoid you from losing out at the very last second because TIME ran out and you could not respond before the auction ended. REMINDER this is a "TIMED" auction not a normal auction where every bidder gets one more chance to place ONE more bid. I have had e-mails in the past from buyers after the close of my auction, stating that they would have bid higher on an item if only they would have had ONE more chance to place another bid before time expired. I, as a seller, can only sell to the highest bidder when time expires.
I follow all eBay POLICES and STRIVE for 5-STAR SERVICE on each and every TRANSACTION.   Please remember, when YOU GIVE 4 STARS, it may seem like a GREAT SCORE, BUT a 4 ON ANY STAR is a 4.0 and EBAY considers this a SUB PAR MARK SINCE THE minimum REQUIREMENT IS 4.40.    So, if you are happy with your TRANSACTION PLEASE RESPOND WITH ALL 5 STARS.    IF YOU ARE NOT PLEASED/HAPPY then just LET ME KNOW and WE WILL WORK to try and MAKE IT THAT WAY very quickly.
